January 3, 200620 yr Ouch! I'd post this over in the hardware forum also because that's where most of the gurus hang out that help us mere mortals. If you're not terribly happy with the new card, I'd try to take it back to the store. I'm sure you've already installed new drivers from the manufacturer's website, but perhaps an older version of the driver might help since new drivers don't always mean better? I hope things work out better for you.;-)
January 3, 200620 yr I agree, get it back to the store if you can. I had one ATI card between a long series of nVidias. Now back to nVidia again, (almost) all my trouble (videocard related that is) is gone :).If however you have to keep it, see if maybe an Omega driver (http://www.omegadrivers.net/) would help you get the best out of it. After all, there's nothing wrong with the card, it's a driver issue after what I've understood. Also a good idea to post over at the hardware forum. With the ATI card I spent more time there than in the skies, :( and people were very helpful over there.Best of luck!Eagle
January 4, 200620 yr This might be a temporary fix, but try resizing the radio panel popup smaller. It looks like it is coming up too large, because when I resize mine larger it looks like yours.-Shawn

January 6, 200620 yr Hi,I absolutely second that! You MUST get rid of all traces of previous drivers, and while I haven't used that tool myself, I have heard that it will do the job.I got a X800XT almost a year ago - no problems, great card, but you simply got to make sure old drivers are completely gone.Oh, and BTW: ATI catalyst drivers are now up to ver 5.13BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
