February 20, 200620 yr I experience a strange problem right now with my CH Pro Pedals. Something has happened to the behavior of my right (differential) brake in FS9. It does not function anymore: When I press the right pedal down the red sign in the left down corner saying "DIFFERENTIAL BRAKE" is flickering a few miliseconds, and then dissapear and the right brake does not function. The left brake is steady and do function ok.I have assigned the controls within the FS9 and it worked ok yesterday!?!? What happened???Does anybody has an idea to a solution? I'm trying ti taxi the MAAM DC3 and the steering is done with the differential brakes, so I have problems as you see!! Hope somebody can helpBest RegardsLars
February 20, 200620 yr Good morning Lars,I have had problems with my CH products yoke and rudder. The yoke ended up having a broken wire internally. I ended up replacing it. My rudder controller has a problem as the brakesare starting to act up as well. This sounds like a classic symptom of a loose or brokem wire. I could be wrong. If yourwire harness at the back end of the rudder controller has been crimped, this could be a problem. Are you able to move the wire around while trying the brakes somwhow? How long have you had the controller? Please post back. Also, this post will likely be moved to the hardware forum. Not to worry as John always leaves a link to it.
February 20, 200620 yr Author Hi Jeff,I dont think its a hardware problem because the pedals reacts completely normal when I test them in the calibration program within FS9.BRLars
February 20, 200620 yr My right diff brake no longer works either. I think there's some internal wire that easily breaks..I just disabled diff braking and use the left-right rocker switch on the yoke instead. Maybe I'll take them apart some day and have a look at it but I'm not sure I can be bothered. -
February 20, 200620 yr Author The problem with your solutions is that I have tried to assign the rigth brake to a throttle on the yoke with exactly the same result. So this is definitely a software problem somehow....!BRLars
