I like many others am still running an AGP based system that I cannot afford to replace for some time,so purely with FS9 in mind is there a benefit to be gained with a graphics upgrade,to a 7600GT,7800GS etc.Has anyone been there /done that. Also what about putting in another Gb of ram.Grateful for any feedback. Arthurplum

Arthurplum,If I were you I would not spend more money upgrading with 256 from 128 MB video card.I once bought a $600 video card my Dell ...and soon after bought a new XPS 600 Gen2 DELL for $800 with its own video card.I would save the money to get a New Dual core machine eventually.JMO.Manny

I too would not upgrade at this time. If I were you I would get a whole new machine in about 6 months. That way it will have Vista and you'll have a DirectX10 video card. You're double-dipping there and saving lots of $$$$.If you really can't stand your FS9 performance, you could get something for $200-$250 but I wouldn't do it. Save that towards a new one.RhettAMD 3700+, eVGA 7800GT 256, ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, etc. etc.
