September 27, 200619 yr What is the field of view at normal zoom with the Matrox Triple Head To Go? I understand it is a bit less than the expected 3 x 45 = 135 degrees. I'd appreciate it if an owner could do a quick check. The easiest way to measure it is to turn on on-screen heading information with Shift-Z and rotate the aircraft in slew mode with the number pad 1 and 3 keys.--Bryn

October 8, 200619 yr I have been looking at this for a while. This would have been a no brainer for me. But I am feeling guilty about spending $1200 on a Dell 24" widescreen. Now, The more I think about it, I feel I could move the 24" for a left window view and use the 3 monitors for the front.Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
October 8, 200619 yr HiI have a TH2G now about for 2 month; it is great.I am using the TH2G output to three 15 inch displays with 3x1024x768displaying the cockpit view in a window; I think we can see about 3x45 degrees, for me it does not matter some degrees more or less but it is much more than with one monitor.I uploaded a pdf file with some pictures in the AVSIM library: look for the file TH2G-FS2004.ZIPPeter
October 9, 200619 yr Good questions, I am seriously thinking about this system to go with 3 FE 2111 NEC monitors (big rascals @70# each), but have heard some comments that it does not work well with the ATI 1900X card, anyone have latest info on if this works and does it work with old type monitors?? Ideas on best place to buy?? Appreciate the help RRL
October 9, 200619 yr DickMatrox has a compatibility list on the webpage for the TH2G.But it really seems that NVIDIA graphic adapters are much more compatible then ATI.As the monitors I dont know; I am using my three ols 15 inch monitors (each one another type and brand) no problem. The only problem is to synch the colors (bright and colors of the 3 monitors)I bought it in an online-shop in Switzerland, no problem.Peter
