December 13, 200619 yr I am creating my own profile for FSX using my X-52 and so far have been unable to find a way to use the rotary knobs on my throttle as trim wheels. I would like to use the top rotary (the one with button E in the middle) to trim ailerons. Button I rotary knob for the rudders and the mouse wheel for elevator. I have tried using the slider for elevator control but have found it way to sensative, maybe there is a way to ruduce it's sensativity and use it for the elevator? Thanks for any help.Blaze RE Thomason Jr.
December 14, 200619 yr Hi Blaze. You probibly know about this.Start FSX go to settings / controls / Calibrate / Properties / DeadzoneThere is an ajustment there for the precision slide Merry ChristmasRex
December 14, 200619 yr Author Yeah I know about the dead zones, However it just reduces sensitivity around the center or "Dead Zone" once outside this area it's still too sensitive. I can program the trims as single key press and use the 4 way hat switch but would prefer to find a way to use the rotary knobs, if possible. Thanks,Blaze RE Thomason Jr.
