Hands down, the CoreDuos blow any AMD cpu away. I am in the process of building a QX6700 (dual quad core Core 2 Duo Extremes) rig and it is the first time in years I'm moving away from AMD since it even blows the dual FX-74 out of the water too.

Mike, out of curiousity, what is the cpu going for$$. I got a dual core AMD 4400 in May for FSX....well I am sure you know what happened, as I am always here on the FS9 (my one and only home) forums, and I really believe that FS9 ran better on my old AMD 2800XP. I am so fed up now that I may rebuild again, and I was looking at the FX series. Now after reading your post, I am not so sure. Thanks for your input.
