February 1, 200719 yr Hey gang.. I need some help here....I have been running along on my Dell 2405 24" LCD for a while now and Love it. I have seen that some of you have been running multiple displays so I thought I'd go ahead and bite the bullet and order a pair of 20" 2007FP's to sit on either side of the 2405 to give a nice 3 panel wrap around display for flight sim.Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I have the 2405 on it's own card (a 7900GT) and then the 2 20's hooked to a second 7900GT (not in SLI mode!). When I go into the video card settings, I see the NView stuff, but it only lets me stretch the display across any 2 monitors hooked to a single card, not across monitors hooked to multiple cards.Alternatively, I was thinking I could just run in windowed mode, and open up 2 more windows for views and undock them and run them in the 2 20" displays, but I can't seem to figure out how to get them to display front left and front right. Instead they just show the same thing as the front view on the 2405.HELP! There MUST be a way to fix this!!!And do NOT say one of those crappy Triplehead-to-Go things... The resolution maximums on that thing is pathetic!--Mike
February 2, 200719 yr I don't think you can span across video cards, so it seems you might be stuck with just two displays for a span (unless you use that crappy TH2G that does span across three, but I won't mention that ;-)).Re getting the right view direction on left and right monitors, just click on the window you want to position and use your joystick to adjust it to the view you want, hold the joystick there while you click on another window and it will stay in that position. Repeat with the right side.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
February 2, 200719 yr Gary,Why do you call that TH2g Crappy? Hmmm... I was considerin one!Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
February 2, 200719 yr >Gary,>>Why do you call that TH2g Crappy? >>Hmmm... I was considerin one!>>MannyNo, *I* called it crappy because I have 3 monitors that put out 1600x1200 or better and the TH2G won't run that high. Hence - CRAP!--Mike
February 2, 200719 yr Yes, I was just paraphrasing. As much as I'd like the TH2GO to support a multitude of high res combinations, I definately do not consider it to be crappy.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
February 2, 200719 yr You can also press and hold the space bar down and use "Mouse Look" mode instead of the joystick method if that works easier for you. There's also a .CFG file switch that will lock multiple view windows together so they scroll at the same time, but I don't remember the switch name off the top of my head. This way when you use the joystick or mouse to scroll left right, all the view windows will scroll together. Tim http://fsandm.wordpress.com
February 2, 200719 yr As far as I know, FS can't SELECTIVELY render across 2 cards that aren't SLI'd. Basically the only way I see it happening is SLI your cards, buy a tripleh2go run it at 3840x1024 and stretch it. Is there any way to manually up the output res of a Nvidia card? Don't think so.
