But seriously . . .Most folks will tell you that the CPU is most important and I'm not going to argue with those who know more than I do about such things. I will say, from personal experience, that if your system is GPU challenged, a new video card can make a world of difference. This is especially true if you are currently using an on-board video processor. Then, even an inexpensive card makes a big improvement.R-

SoFrom AMD 4200+ 2 GB RAMwith 6150LE might be onboard but its like :(to 4200+ with 7950GT 2GB RAMwould run FS with how many FPS difference

Unstable from 4 to 14 max 25 during cruise.( lots of stutters)

I went from an ATI 9800 128 meg GPU to a 256 meg CPU (see my specs below) and it did nothing to my frame rates. But I knew that going in because I also read that FS is based in the CPU. My other games however are outstanding now!It is best to get the biggest CPU you can afford.I also read that FSX is still CPU based and that it is not programed to take advantage of the two CPU systems?My question is does FS2004 run better an the two core machines,... anyone?

Let's put it this way...A new video card WILL help you....Your CPU isn't the greatest....but your onboard graphics are horrible. Upgrading to something like the 7950 will help your FPS....it really will.I don;t know how much, but I'd guess in the 4-8 range..
