Cat 7.4's and AA

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone is having problems with AA setting(hardware)?Updated to the cat 7.4's and when I set AA in hardware to 4x, I get no AA. Using X1900XTX. Did complete uninstall and ran Drivercleaner Pro. 7.3's and all other drivers work fine. This is a first for me. I always set AA to 4x and ansio to 8x in hardware and in software I leave render to texture checked and t&l checked and trilinear filtering.Thank-You,Ted

Yes, same here. I use the same card (X1900XTX)and tested with another ATI card (X1950XT), both with same results. We

Same problem here on the X800 PRO.Went back to 7.1 and all is good again.

Thanks guys! I'm running the 1950XTX with 7.3 and no probs - and I'm sure glad I found this thread. When this card is working fine - it's a great card - but, darn it, I wish ATI would get their act together.

I don't think 7.4 offers any real benefits for FS9/FSX anyway. One thing I did notice in the release notes it MS Net Framework is required again with 7.4. I thought as of 7.3 it wasn't?

Thanks
