May 15, 200719 yr Ok it sounded like (in your post above) that you were most likely not going for FSX at this time....But yeah, then by all means - go for the FSX, DX10, Vista rig | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 15, 200719 yr I think I'd bite the bullet and go with a 150GB Raptor instead of the Caviar (I have the caviar and a smaller raptor)The video card will be ok....but if it were me I'd splurge for the 640mb video ram version.go with the 550PSU...if not a 700 (if you're thinking about upgrading to a better gpu in the future)Are you going to be into overclocking? You should hehe... but if not, you might want to go with the E6700...since it adds money, you could skip the Raptor and keep the 320mb gpu ram. May 15, 200719 yr Author yeah but i read on Toms Hardware you dont get much peforamance improvement going from 320 to 640 RAM in the GPU and the most bang for your buck is with a 320 MEG GPU.also i believe the 6700 is only about 10% faster than the 6600, and no i do not intend to overclock.
