October 7, 200718 yr Hi all-I just received my new computer a few days ago and have installed FSX which is running pretty well. My new computer has a Quad Core 2.4 6600 in it and I had a question regarding how it works. I'm coming from a 3.4ghz Pentium. Does FSX know how to allocate itself to each of the four processors efficiently? Are there any adjustments that I need to make? Thanks,Mark

October 8, 200718 yr FSX will detect and use the quad just fine.If you video card is a 8800 then you may have to install nHancer, delete the current FS profiles and create a new one, to get the best image in FSX.As usual with a flight sim you can find 100's of tips on the web but just do as needed, get your basic setup going then if you notice issues try to address them.
