October 20, 200718 yr I've got a brand new Asus 6800GTS card, advertised as a 256 MB card.Every reporting tool, however, identifies this card as having 512 MB on board.Win XP Device Manager, DXdiag, Memstatus, Nvidia Control panel etc.Is the card possibly mis-representing itself, or is Asus shipping more memory without telling anyone?Only reason I'm concerned, is if it is really 256 MB and FSX believes it is 512.. funny things might happen.. October 20, 200718 yr If a number of different programs tag and identify your card as having 512, I'd say that someone at the plant put a 512 part into a 256 box. You score!:)It might be just that simple...
