HelloBuild it yourself, lots more fun that way besides there is not anywhere near $6600 worth there.buying everything there from newegg would be maybe $4500 tops The only blood red liquid these guys have will be yours :-)http://www.freewebs.com/reading1871/30.jpg

Here's $1300 . . . without the Vcards.http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/wishli...tNumber=71621861) With Vista 64, 2) the ram is doubled to 8 gig (ram is sooo cheap, just get it). 3) The HD selection is also doubled to 500 x 2. 4) Wait on the Vcard(s). Nvidia is gonna have a dual G92 (the 65nm current 8800GTS/GT GPUs) out in 6 to 8 weeks. Two of those will = four G92s for ~ $1000. That's better than three G80s for $1800. You'll need an Nvidia Mobo for SLI, of course.5) That X9650 might go to 4ghz for a 24/7 runner. The Q6600 will go to 3.6Ghz and is at $1000 cheaper. Is 400Mhz worth an extra $1000? In any case, don't buy it, build it ( . . . then sell it, like they do. What a racket!)

I like that setup!I'm currently running the Asus P5WD2-E Overclocked 4.0 w/2gb mem.Seems I read somewhere that a new Intel processor is coming the fist quarter '08. I may just wait for that and the new GeForce card. Thanks for all the replies!

buy the asus maximus extreme comes with built in thermoelectric cooling so you should be able to hit 4.7GHz on your 9650. I hit 5.7GHz on my massive cooler. also wait until next year when the 9800gtx comes out it gives you a ten frames per second increase on the 8800 series.

by the way sli increases your FPS by 1. so please dont waste 1000 dollars.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the advise. I used to build new computers all the time for other people about four or five years ago, but today it's changing so much it's hard to keep up with what works or what doesn't, if you don't stay on top of it!Thanks again everyone,John
