January 10, 200818 yr Guys, pls help me out: I reinstalled WinXP and FSX and lost my Mouse look setting. I had my mouse's middle button pan the view in 3D when pressed. I recall I had used JAB, but then I changed to some simple setting in the FSX's VIEWS setup. It was a valuable addition to TrackIR, kinda AC for FSX in a way. For the life of me I can't find or remember that setting in FSX.Thanks.
January 10, 200818 yr I think the stock Mouse pan is holding down the spacebar.http://www.fsliners.net/portal/html/images/fsluserbar.jpg
January 10, 200818 yr If memory serves me well (which it usually doesn't) I remember having to install some mouse software (intellipoint?) in order to let the middle mouse button take over the spacebar function... You could set certain settings (replace keyboardcommands with mousebuttons) for various programs. But this is all a long time ago because I have the TrackIR for some time now... It's a bit vague now...
January 10, 200818 yr Author You' right, I got intellipoint, and I assigned the middle button to the Mouse Look in FSX Controls setup. Click on the middle button toggles Mouse Look. With TrackIR turned off the mouse look works as I wanted it to. Thanks.
January 11, 200818 yr 'I assigned the middle button to the Mouse Look in FSX Controls setup'Hicould you please tell me how you did this-I have installed intellipointbut the key assignment in fsx does not see the mouse as a device to assign a button for.I would appreciate some step by step instructions. Many thanks in advance.Qas
