Dont see where it does much for us at all..."AMD has released its first Catalyst driver package for the year. The new version deliver MultiView support under OpenGL, and resolves various issues for the games Bioshock, Half-Life 2 Episode 2, FEAR, Oblivion, World in Conflict, Call of Juarez, Stalker, Timeshift, Tianji and World of Warcraft. AMD also said that it has integrated patches for Lightsmark 2007 and Google Sketchup for the HD 2900 series.There is a separate 8.1 hotfix driver addressing AGP issues as well as a performance increase for Crysis in DirectX10 Crossfire configurations."

I also read those release notes, still wanted to hear from someone...if they installed them and noticed any performance boost in either FS9 or FSX. They might have tweaked a driver, here and there. You never know!Anybody?

Both look and perform great. Hello Mike!I read the release notes, and of course nothing mentioned about FS9 or FSX...but...was kind of hoping that the 8(x) starter of the series was going to blow the lid off of the pot just as 7.10's did pretty much for any Catalyst series ever put out.If anybody is using them, how about a Cat. 7.10/8.1 performance comparison. I have it. Using the catalyst. Seems pretty stable. I've never been able to notice a performance difference in any driver upgrades. My X850XT just keeps chugging on along. :)
