Hi Sargeski,I wanted to thank you for mentioning the use of FSX Options > Settings > Sound menu to split out voice from the other FSX sounds. In Reply #4, above, I wrote:>From your Windows XP Task Bar, click Start > Settings > Control >Panel. You'll find it there.I had always used this Windows XP setting and never noticed the drop down boxes in the FSX Sound menu. I went on to say:>Works great for default ATC, ATIS etc. Saddly it doesn't direct FDC>Live Cockpit sounds to the headset.Since reading your posts, I use the FSX menu to send voice to my USB headset and all other sounds to my speakers and, lo and behold, FDC Live Cockpit checklists are now directed to the heasset. I can't believe it and no idea why this works and the WinXP CP did not work.So thanks again for your help. FSX just gets better and better.R-

ok thanks for thisi did know about these vatsim instructions but it doesnt actually enable me to use my headset to get online ATC through.
