March 14, 200818 yr Anybody know of common reasons for controls to be erratic? A lot of times my control inputs will freeze up repeatedly, sometimes even controlling the opposite of what I want. It will also bank sharply to the left on it's own. It seems to be concentrated on the ailerons. Not only that, but my controls are usually fine on the ground - only when I'm flying does it act up. What's up with this?
March 14, 200818 yr You don't say what controller you are using, but it sounds like a component on the aileron control is malfunctioning. If it's just the ailerons, ground control won't be affected unless you're using coordinated aileron/rudder.ArtNow flying with: Biostar TF560-A2+, Athlon 64X2-6000+, 4GB RAM, Geforce 8800GTS-320MB, 500W PSU, 250GB HD, FSX (SP1-SP2), Vista Home Premium Art
March 14, 200818 yr Author Just a common Logitech joystick... since you mentioned the coordinated controls... that might be why the ailerons dont act up on the ground, since "aileron" input would also be rudder input (I do have it coordinated).
