Hi there,I am looking to find solution to my poor frame rate I am getting using FSX and TH2GO Digital that I just baught. My PC Spec are as follows:Intel Core Duo E8400 @3.00G OC to 3.6GHzAsus MB P5K-E.4G Ram DDR2 @800MhzNvidia GF 8800GTS OC 512MB PCI Express.Vista home premium. When I play the game (FSX) with 1 screen using 1280x1024 I get Frame rate 30 +.As soon I switch to 3840 x 1024 the frame rate drop to 1 or 0.8/sec.What am i doing wrong.I am new to this , so please advise how can I rectify, as I cannot play the game.Same for FS9.Thanks for any helpwalouigi

I don't have 3HTG, but you might have to switch the FSX window screen size to the native combined screen size (3048x1024 or something like that) to get it to work properly.

Also, make sure you have installed the latest version of the Powerdesk-SE software from the Matrox website. Set it to run at bootup. It will also automatically set the Wide View Aspect in your FSX.CFG file to True the first time you run it.I have a very similar system as you with a C2D 6700 OC'd to 3.6GHZ and an 8800GTS 640mb on Vista Ultimate with my TH2GO on 3 19" monitors that have a native resolution of 1280x1024 and I have no noticeable reduction in performance. Casey

I too have no problems with frame rates. I love the wide screen.

Hi guys,I have installed the driver from the CD. I have to download the 2.03.00.009 from Matrox site, and it doesn't want to install, I don't know why.I have to unzip it manually, and I don't get the resolution 3840x1024.so I had to go with the default one. What resolution you guys are running to get the best of it.Thanks for any helpwalouigi

With my machine, I found that I have to turn off the power to my machine completely to get the TH2GO to reset and boot. Just shutting my machine off won't do it. Try this. Shut your machine down, hit the power switch on the back of your machine at the power supply. You should see the light on the TH2GO go off. You can achieve the same by unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in if you don't have a switch. Wait a few secs and turn the switch back on. Then power up your machine. You should see a green light on the TH2GO box. You should then see all 3 monitors light up. I have to do this everytime I shut down. Also, you have the USB cable from the TH2GO box plugged into a working USB port right? The software doesn't seem to work unless your machine can see the box.Hope that helps. Casey

Would you have the latest driver for vista? Would you know by any chance why the vxp2k_GXM_2_03_00_009 won't install on my machine. On Matrox site, it says it is Vista driver. Thanks

Well I have removed the driver and reinstalled from scratch, and left everything as default except putting my screen resolution, to 3840x1024.I was unable to get full 3 screen with good Frame rate, it goes back to 1FPS/sec. I maximized the middle screen, then clicked on CTL+ pointed my mouse to the top right Icon to maximize screen, and the screen go full to the 3 screen. However , I noticed that with the Matrox control icon, I went to see what did I have as display available. It was giving me 3x 1280x1024 however the ratio is 5:4 not 4:3.Is that the reason I am having problem. So I have started to test something, and used the minimized screen, and stretch it, I found that I can run full FPS as much as I can have almost 2 screen and a bit, if I go a bit more the FPS go back to very poor. So it seems that this is supporting 2 screen not 3 kind of double head to go not triple. So no luck for the 3 screen.I am at lost .Any other idea. Thanks a millionWalouigi

I can't remember but I always have to fly in three "windowed mode" (not full screen) because of the stretching. Make sure you have "extend my desktop" checked in windows and you're not cloning desktops. Also, make sure your monitors support 3840 x 1280 resolution. I have a new, cheapo 19 incher that will only go to 2560 x 1280 max and I had to go back to the Dual Head to Go.Don't give up -- multiple monitors on MSFS is GREAT! But I'm pretty sure you have to use the 3HTG in windowed mode only.

Thanks a lot Chunk,I have nailed down the problem The problem was the NVidia control panel, and it had a set up for using NVidia scale.I have put the set up to "Do not scale". And Bang all I had to do is to click on the maximize screen and holding the CTL, and all is maxed and my FPS is the same as the small window. My FPS is back at 30FPS,and the image is so smooth. Wow what a difference.Guys I can't tell you how much I am great full to your help and you consistency to try to help me with all your good idea. Thanks a million to all, I am very very happy camper.Best regards to allwalouigi
