September 1, 200817 yr Wow, FSX is nearly playable now with such hardware and drivers ;-)Seriously though, I installed these drivers last night and had a quick play with FSX and things were a lot smoother, prettier and subjectively faster than my last experience with this title. Now all I need is SSTSIM Concorde for FSX and FSXPassengers to come out and FSX could become a serious alternative to FS9 for me.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
September 1, 200817 yr Seems to me that you've somehow got FS9 looking almost as good as FSX with seemingly much higher framerates. Makes me wonder whether I should go back to the older version. Can you reveal what texture/graphics/weather add-ons you're using in FS9?Thanks,Tim 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. Thrustmaster Airbus Edition throttles etc, TPR pedals, MiniCockpit FCU, WinWings FCU, WinWings Orion 2 F15E, WinWings A320 sticks.

September 2, 200817 yr Thanks for this.From other threads here I wonder whether there might begin a bit of an exodus back to FS9, if it can be made to look this good.Tim 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. September 2, 200817 yr Double wow! I thought all your screenies were of FSX, but those last ones with the mega FPS turn out to be FS9. Impressive how you have produced FSX-like quality from our old favourite.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
