Hello,I have an ASUS A8n sli motherboard. It has the following CPU spec:-Supports AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64FX/Athlon 64 X2/Athlon 64It presently has the Athlon 64 3500+ cpu.Is there a CPU upgrade for that socket that is worth the upgrade price?Thanks again all,Cheers,Ron Sagel

I think the socket 939 CPUs are becoming so rare that they cost more than the newer ones, and only go to 4800+ (if you can find one). He's right, you'd be better off getting an entirely new motherboard, and going with an Intel CPU, like the E8500That probably also means you'll need new RAM, the DDR2 RAM.
