PhotoShop/PSP how to use for repaint tutorials?

Featured Replies

I would dearly love to start repainting some of my Just Flight flying club aircraft in my club colours. I have the photos for reference and I have both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Unfortunately all the articles I can find on the web are:1: Out of Date (fs2000/fs2002 and old versions of painting software)and/or2: None of them tell you how to USE either PSP or Photoshop for repainting (ie step-by-step instructions for repainting using the software?) Most assume you know how to use the software (which I dont except for basic photo enhancement).Anyone know of any RECENT (ie FS2004) repaint tutorials with step-by-step guides to using the software AS WELL as repainting a blank texture or layer? Would be really useful for a novice painter/graphics user like myself?RegardsAdamFS9.1Win XPPrescott 3.20 GHz - 2GB RAMAsus ATi Radeon X800 Pro TD 256MBOmega Radeon ATI Drivers19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96 Audiohttp://www.hhukrecordings.co.uk

Theres a few tutorials on my site that may help out in specific areas. Feel free however to post specific questions you need help with here.. I'm always around :)

Thanks - certainly looks close to what I was trying to find:DI'll take a good read tonight!RegardsAdam

also, don't be afraid to try things out, tutorials are nice to get you started, but the "oompf" inyour paints will be done by you discovering new techniques andeffects you can use to spice up your paint.the basics you can learn by tutorials, everything else you learn by trying(including making a backup :) )cheersJP.
