Where Next? Two suggestions for the next pilot:1. Warp to Tahiti and fly to New Zealand. Practice our island hopping (hoping for bad weather and nighttime landings).2. Warp to Seattle and fly the Northern route over the Berring Sea (and maybe the Aleutians). Again, find good airports and good routes.Just throwing out ideas...Best,Mike

We planned yesterday to fly all the way up the continental spine. Good practice in mountain flying and great scenery to enjoy along the way.

Hi Guys,I HOPE to get in a few hours during the weekend, but the schedule is rather tight :-( Rats, and I have this new P-51 to check out (all Jeroen's fault :))Well, if I get the time, I'll find you - otherwise have a good time. Remember to lower the gear....BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Just for "Race" purposes, note that the official time is the time between the "I have the Baton" and the "Baton is Free" postings on the forum. In this case, the official time is 2:05. Or a 15 minute penalty. No problem here, but something to keep in mind for the actual RTWR.Best,Mike

Hi GuysAnd another thing to keep in mind: Try to keep the "I have the Baton" as reply to 1st post in thread - and the "Baton Free" as a reply to that. It makes it FAR easier to keep track of where the baton really is - and we might as well get used to it now...BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Good catch Mike. I forgot to pre-load my baton free post prior to landing. That cost a couple of minutes. I also had to browse and upload the Duenna jpg. Another minute or so. For the race:Pre-load a "Baton Free" message and post immediately upon landing.Add the jpg after (particularly when close to 2hr time penalty).

Wow, JeroenThat P-51: What a bird! A bit of a handful at takeoff, but nothing compared to the Corsair. The best VC I've ever seen, too! Thanks for the tip!BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
