January 12, 200719 yr Thats 11:00 pm GMT Jozef . I agree with using GMT as last year . Keeps things simpler . Not saying that just because I am in the UK :( honest TEAM AVSIM "Fly Anything" Member BAW 1193
January 12, 200719 yr Hi Bryan,Yes, that would keep thing simpler at the east side of the North Sea too :)You was also involved in the 'Slarty' RTW Race some years ago? Or am I wrong?Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
January 12, 200719 yr No mate . It was my first RTW last year . Though have been simming for many years . If I knew what an experience it is I would have started a few years ago :) TEAM AVSIM "Fly Anything" Member BAW 1193
January 13, 200719 yr Hi VinceYeah, sorry got your route upside down. Thought you might want to start in Seattle, you should have dusk there at 1100 UTC (I guess), then fly into the darkness.brgdsSven Sorensen, EKCH
January 13, 200719 yr Due to a previous engagement, I won't be in until 00300-0400Z. I'll be there... just a lil late.Regards,
January 13, 200719 yr Thats fine, I don't mind late comers and the first part will be more for newer pilots anyway.
January 13, 200719 yr Just a reminder,The first orientation practice for Team AVSIM is tonight at 6:00PM EST (2300 GMT) Meet in the Team Avsim room on the Bushnet Teamspeak server. See the start of this thread for more details.
January 14, 200719 yr Vince & TeamSorry I missed the first practice. Domesticity took a front seat this time around, but I'm hoping to score points that can be redeemed when the race starts. After a few glasses of wine with dinner, well, gotta keep 8 hours bottle to throttle as they say ;-) I see "The baton's free..." threads have started. If we keep them going around the world like last year's practices, I'll jump in when I get a chance. Good flying, y'all.CB Craig Taylor
