November 11, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Tim,I'm 99.9 percent sure you're the problem is procedural as you seem to the be the only one reporting this. Also, make sure you only attempt to start Hotel Mode *after* you finish the FCP checklist. When I get frustrated I play Battlefield 2 and shoot people, hehehe.Cheers,Bryan B. November 13, 200520 yr Hi BryanI had a 99% sussessful flight tonight, thanks to the checklist I just downloaded by Stefano Pirovano. Whatever I was screwing up, the simple version of the checklist fixed it.Just 2 things, I noticed that on some occasions when the FO is running a checklist the sound goes very crackly and breaks up a bit. No big deal but annoying. The only other thing I couldn't find was how to set the DH on the RA for the approach? I'm sure I knew this once but I just can't find it.Also I see none of the click spots work on the condensed panel, no big deal ecxept for the limited visibilty while taxying.Anyway, thanks for your help the other day, It was me like I said it probably was!Cheershttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif
November 13, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Tim,Glad to hear things are going well.As for the FO sounding crackly: It could be your soundcard and its drivers, I don't know without me being at your computer it's hard to say, or it could be that I ran the sounds through a filter to try to make them sound the way you'd hear them through a headset in a noisy environment. To set DH on the RA, there is a knob on the F1 ATR panel that allows you to set DH on the RA. It's in your Flight1 ATR manual; basically it's in the same panel section where you can adjust the brightness of the CRTs.Don't forget to set DA using the Red Bug on the altimeter.Cheers,Bryan B.
