December 14, 200421 yr Hello All -After you complete the termination checklist with FSCrew can you just fire up another IFR flight plan? Or do you need to start "Cold and Dark" again. Are the switches in place for another flight?Thanks! Rob Sciarrino
December 14, 200421 yr As you have to switch off all the necessary switches during the termination checklist you can just start a new flight using the FS2CREW config page and it will be treated like a thru flight, so the FO won't check the oxygen again etc. No problems there... .
December 15, 200421 yr Commercial Member Just want to add that if you're doing a "Thru-Flight" you don't need to go through the Termination Checklist. Generally speaking, only do the Termination checklist for the last flight of the day.If doing a Thru-Flight, complete the Parking Checklist, then use the > button to advance to the Config Page and enter your info for the next sector/leg. Skip through the Termination Page.As Ben commented, you'll note that the FO will not perform his oxygen test on a thru-flight (you won't hear the Darth Vader like sound of the oxygen test), and this is reflected in the Receiving a/c checklist. You don't need to do the oxygent test, either.The FO will also switch Ignitors for the 2nd leg/sector, and you'll also note that the FA's brief and your Dep brief are abridged as you don't need to repeat a lot of the same information twice.
