Starting another IFR Flight after termination

Featured Replies

As you have to switch off all the necessary switches during the termination checklist you can just start a new flight using the FS2CREW config page and it will be treated like a thru flight, so the FO won't check the oxygen again etc. No problems there... .

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. Cheers

Just want to add that if you're doing a "Thru-Flight" you don't need to go through the Termination Checklist. Generally speaking, only do the Termination checklist for the last flight of the day.If doing a Thru-Flight, complete the Parking Checklist, then use the > button to advance to the Config Page and enter your info for the next sector/leg. Skip through the Termination Page.As Ben commented, you'll note that the FO will not perform his oxygen test on a thru-flight (you won't hear the Darth Vader like sound of the oxygen test), and this is reflected in the Receiving a/c checklist. You don't need to do the oxygent test, either. The FO will also switch Ignitors for the 2nd leg/sector, and you'll also note that the FA's brief and your Dep brief are abridged as you don't need to repeat a lot of the same information twice. Now how's that for detail.Cheers,Bryan
