I Ron,could you please state the exact kind of error that occurs? Does FS shut down without any error report or is there a certain module or gauge which causes the CTD and which is shown by a flightsimulator error report?

Hello, here is the data:1. Started FS20042. Loaded my default C&D - per your setup requirements3. Selected A/C PMDG 737-800 2D panel only4. It loaded the PMDG AIRAC5. It displayed the first screen - looked like the "missing virtual" display of the terminal in front on the A/C6. Pressed "S" key - it switched to the "fly by" screen7. Pressed "S" to load the Panel ScreenHere is where the CTD occurs:DISPLAYS a FS9 Error Screen: detail is FS9.exe V9.1.0.40901 Module - Panel.dll Offset - 0003fe3bThans it! I used the second display with the Nvidia Driver 66.93 and running XP. Good luck!Ron Sagel

Hi Ron,what is looking strange to me is the fact, that it should load the aircraft allready in the PMDG standart 2D-Cockpit and not anywhere else... . You left the cessna cockpit in the 2D-Cockpit before you switched to the PMDG, right? It seems that the plane loaded in the missing virtual cockpit as you switch directly to fly-by when pressing the "S"-button. But let's see if Bryan gets some new ideas tomorrow as he will be asleep now ;-) and during the beta there wasn't any problem like that.

Hi Ron,someone might have discovered a work around for the graphics device problem:"On reading the various threads on dual monitors, I decided to try putting the default Cessna into full screen before changing aircraft. This ploy worked and the PMDG 737-800 loaded satisfactorily with both monitors running. Once stabilised, I then tried returning to windowed mode without a problem and was then able to load ActiveSky and Radar Contact using Start. The undocking and dragging of PMDG windows also functioned correctly. This would seem to be a workaround for Matrox cards and might work for the others. Might the site of your mini panels be the cause of the lockup. At least I am now able to try out your program without major changes to my setup."Could you please try if that works?

Another consideration is use of the nView horizontal span mode versus DualView. DualView reports itself as two separate monitors to Windows, while the horizontal span mode in nView reports itself as one large double-width screen. Normally, I run in windowed mode on nView horizontal span...have had many more problems using DualView with FS and other 3D programs.Bob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC
