April 20, 200620 yr Hello Bryan,Just an observation with the FO take off,I have just completed an ICUS take off at LHR (TWR was online and very accomadating).I only had one issue, that was after take off the FO did not seem to be able to control the pitch to maintain airspeed at V+15 - 25 knts.As we took off, the FO rotated smoothly enough, but possibly over rotated to 17 Regards, Chris Willis, CVHK Line Pilot http://hk.vatsea.net/cpa/
April 20, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Chris,Check your Takeoff Trim. It may have been set too high. For FO takeoffs, the FO will try to maintain a proper pitch attitude within a certain range, but remember that getting the FO to fly the plane is more of an art than a science. If you're in rough weather or your trim is set too high or something, he can still be tripped up.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
