Voicewatch 122.0 on non primary sound device
Hiya, Is there any way to shift voicewatch from the primary sound driver over to a secondary driver. I use a USB soundcard for my in the ear ATC - VATSIM and IVAO and the primary for all engine and cockpit related noises. I would love it if I can change voicewatch over to the ATC soundcard, but I can't find any documents or threads that can help me. Is this possible, if so how? Chris

FO check problem post SP1
Hi Bryan,Ok two flights, two non responsive FO'sFirst one he quit during the after take off checklist, but still would run the MCP hdg, and alt windows.Second one, he quit during the control checks, again would only control MCP hdg and alt (spd at a push) but no mode changes, flaps, etc. Both time flying online on vatsim using the Australian server.First flight was with product out of the box from simmarket, second flight was as fitted with SP1.Tomorrow night will be a check flight back to VHHH offline, with no SB3/4 After that we are going to try IVAO.No crew change after starting the pre departure routine.I do hope that the product will work with at least one of the network system clients.Chris

FO runaway SP1
Hi Bryan,Firstly, where the hell has this product been all my life, damn that was fun coming out of VTBS, big TCU's, flew manual all the way up to FL220 and then dropped in the CMD.FS2crew, perfect from the RW entry ptocedure to the time I put CMD in, just perfect, great great product! However just one issue, with the CMD in, I bought the hdg bug round to 300 with a voice command, and the FO ranaway with the hdg control. I stopped him with voice switch, and now he has got stroppy and won't talk to me. The FA's have joined him and are on stike, so not coffee tonight for me!Product has been downloaded from simmarket (paypal don't like my chinese credit card, so no discount), and is reported to be at SP1 level.Did I miss anything, except to say that the hand fly of the approach into VIDP is going to be very fun.Regards,Chris (a LDS fanatic again)

Possible new feature?
Hi Bryan,I can get her loaded and ready to go including winds in 30 minutes with the button press versions, can we have that as an option as well. That 30 minutes also includes loading the FP by hand for a Atlantic or Pacific flight. Must admit I hate PMDG for it's 45 minute rule (can do in twenty from cold and dark).Chris

A few questions
Ooops, forgot this one.Additional is if you are only certified to ETOPS 138 you must use the APU for the portion of the flight that you are outside of the 138 coverage, in effect this means in the climb, you start the APU at FL250 and leave it on until entering ETOPS 138 coverage, then can switch it off.Chris

A few questions
Hi Guys,APU on in flight is a good one and I would like to see it added. "APU on"is part of most flows related to the power management, one rule from the QRH is that you must always have two sources of electrical power available. That is why if you have a generator go down on an engine/ engine fire/ engine fire/ compressor stall, or other adverse engine conditions, you switch on the APU.It is also why the MEL/DDM states that the 767 can be despatched with only one engine generator functioning (APU operates all flight fuel usage 50kg and hour).APU on finals - natch not needed, just wait the extra time for the clean up.Chris

FS2crew and VRinsight MCP
Hi all,I use FS2crew for the 747, and also VRinsight for the 747. My problem is that when I use the FS2crew key log, my MCP stops working, I get the usual radio controls, but the EFIS and the MCP portion just do not work.Does anyone else use this combination and if so how do you get the two to work together? Thanks,Chris WillisCVHK line pilot

Fs2Crew LDS 767 and Aerosoft AES
I suggest Bryan's option one.So select no in the briefing for the pushback required. Then hit the landing lights to call up the start up dialoge, call for the startStart the AES push back process, and then disconnect after the AES pushback is completed. This gives you the best and most complete set of sounds for the pushback process.Chris

FS9/ Level D FS2crew update
Chris Willis BAW976 replied to Chris Willis BAW976's topic in FS2CREW: LEVEL-D 767 (FS9 Button Control)Hi Bryan,Solved it, I had FS and FSUIPC both set for sending the commands from the same buttons, so one press would send two commands.Little wonder the poor thing was getting all confused, all sorted now.Cheers.Chris

FS9/ Level D FS2crew update
Chris Willis BAW976 replied to Chris Willis BAW976's topic in FS2CREW: LEVEL-D 767 (FS9 Button Control)Hi Bryan,Panel will be in the post when I get back to home base. I'm going to be a bit cheeky, cos I want to switch the altimeter clickspot as well. Also I'm having a problem that the program will start OK, then will miss sections of the prestart checklist and will not work until I force the rejected take off brief. Then the gear up call works, and I can do one flap retraction, then the things goes dead again, nothing until I start the brief at the far end, and then all #### breaks loose. As I start the brief the system calls for the landing checklist and tries to go flap 20 and gear down.I have reinstalled the program and will give you an update.P.S. Just made training captain at BAV so if anyone is using the soundpack, you are now flying with the official BAV Training capatin Chris

FS9/ Level D FS2crew update
Chris Willis BAW976 replied to Chris Willis BAW976's topic in FS2CREW: LEVEL-D 767 (FS9 Button Control)Hi Bryan,Idiot once more, how do I get the ASI gauge transferred from the CPT side to the FO side.I have a new role at the VA and need to get used to flying on the RHS again, and that has been a long time since I did that.Chris

FS9/ Level D FS2crew update
Hi Bryan,Long time no speak, and after a lot of time on the Airbus, I am back on the level D 767.I do have a quick question, some time ago we talked about bringing the pilot announcements up to the standard of the Airbus, with the announcements, and the expanded destinations. Is this still on the plans? or is the development on the FS9 767 halted.Chris

EGLL term procedure 0706
Hello Terry,First post here so I'm unsure if I'll get it right.I think I've found a problem in the terminal procedures for EGLL DVR sids and the LAM3A procedures. On the DVR sid, it seems that the DVR VOR at the end of the procedure is displaced to a position that is 2nm abeam or abaft of the DET VOR.On the LAM3A STAR, Tripo seems to be displaced (position unknown) and the transition also seems to have displaced LAM VOR by 20nm to the west of its radio position.Chris

British airways Update 2 questions
Hi Folks,Minor hitch, I am in the UK now on hols, but I forgot to bring my nDAC database with me for the airport charts. That is minor, so I'll just purchase the files again, but I'll work on the major routes for BA, which will mostly be pond hops and FRA, BCN. We'll see how I get on.Graham, can you send the utility and the text files to my work address please, as I've forgotten them as well.Chris

British airways Update 2 questions
Hi Folks just to let you all know,I have two weeks of work now, so I can start to work on additional briefings, primarily the LHR IAP's, and MAN files but I want to revise the centre in command calls as they should be autopilot engaged, and I also want to change some of the default welcomes, dep delay, ramp holds and tods files as well.I have done a lot of sectors with BA recently and have a better idea of how it should sound and some of the capa files are a bit to polished and needs some hesitations in them. Also next time (mid Jan) I am on a BA flight I'll try to get a recording of the new BA capbin briefing, 'cos it is quiet cool.Chris

British Airways
Hi folks, please find attached a zip file from my LDSNavdataflightplans folder.BA use the IATA codes plus a route number that is generated by CIRRUS (the RW BA flightplanner system).so Heatherow to Malpensa, would be LHREMXP01, and that is what you enter in the FMC.These routes have no sid or star on them that is something that the HP has to enter him/herself when setting up the FMC.just unzip this file and place the .rte files in X:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/FS9/Level D Simulations/Navdata/Flightplans folder and good luck, hope you enjoy.P.S. BA fly the 767 to YYZ, EWR, JFK (from MAN), BWI, DTW, and PHL, these have no .rte files and would not have due to the ever changing nature of the NATS.Chris
