May 11, 200620 yr Just to whet appetites and to update all of you patient folks out there. The British crew set has now been completed. Originally I made a set with my wife with me as Captain and my wife as the FO - then Chris Willis 'volunteered' to record a set and things kinda got out of hand from there on and so we have a set with Chris as Captain and me as FO.We've now completed the recordings and I'd like to thank the following for their help:Chris Willis Captain and general all round fountain of knowledge.Flight Attendant Geri Jackson (tea bringer and brow soother)Engineer Nick WildmanLoad Control Graham CrossleyGate Control John Greatwoodand of course Bryan York for all his behind the scenes tweaking of sound files etc.The set reflects, as near as we can tell, a British Airways operation and incorporates the change of Callsign as you'd expect.Furure plans include making the briefings and announcements etc more 'destination specific' - but more of that after the release.Chris and I have tested most of the set ourselves fairly extensively - it's amazing how many glitches we managed to buid in and had to eliminate. Hopefully any beta testing considered necessary won't hold things up too much.
May 11, 200620 yr Commercial Member Building a FS2Crew voice set is a huge undertaking not to be taken lightly (as Graham discovered). We'll probably release the Brit voice set in a couple days after I've had a chance to do a last minute, personal check.Cheers,Bryan B.
