July 27, 200619 yr Installed TinMouse 737 along with Patch 2, but ASI inop.Installed Patch 3 & 4, but ASI still inop (everything else OK).All other posts I could find here regarding this issue seemed to be fixed with installation of patch, or FSUIPC.dll in Modules folder. Anyone have any other suggestions or ideas on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks very much for any help on this!
July 28, 200619 yr Have you connected the generators to the electrical buses? Are there any other off flags, such as in the EPR gauges? The ASI wil be flagged inop if you haven't connected a power source.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
July 28, 200619 yr Hi Bob,I did connect the generators to the buses, and do not have any OFF flags, even for the ASI. Voice callouts (80 knots, etc) appear to work OK, just no airspeed indication. Needle and digital airspeed readout on the ASI will not come off the peg as the aircraft accelerates during takeoff. Even checked the pitot tubes on the walk-around --- no blockages. ;>) Any other thoughts? Thanks again.Wayne
July 28, 200619 yr do you have the Pitot heat on? are you flying in icing?maybe try and load a default flight with avionics on that is my only guess! Image Coming... KregE | B757/767 FO
July 28, 200619 yr Thanks, Kreg. This one's got me stymied. Pitot heat is on, no icing, and I did try various combinations of loading a flight --- first loading a default aircraft with avionics on then switching to the TM 737, then an initial load of the 737, then switching to default 172 and back to 737, etc. --- no joy. The ASI does seem to have power, as the OFF flag disappears with AC power available. Didn't make any changes to the acft cfg other than those specified in the patch readme or when adding repaint entries. I'm thinking maybe I got a corrupt gauge download or something. I'll try a fresh install and see how that goes. Thanks again for the help. In the meantime, if anyone stumbles across this problem and finds a fix, I would appreciate any info!Best regards,Wayne
July 28, 200619 yr just an idea, wayne.i think that ASI functionality is strictly connected to the FSUIPC interface. Are you running with the latest version (of FSUIPC) available? Are the two EGT gauge operational?alex
July 28, 200619 yr Wayne,Are you using the latest version of FSUIPC? This could cause a problem if you're not up to date.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpg
July 28, 200619 yr Thanks, Alex and John! You guys are geniuses. That was it --- my version of FSUIPC was not up to date. Put in v3.65 and that fixed it. Thanks very much!Wayne
