March 3, 200719 yr I don't hear the normal engines sounds, thrust on takeoff or spot view sounds since installing and using FS2crew? I have some sounds like you hear from the cockpit with all the systems running but without any deviation on throttle settings.................HELP Dave Taylor
March 3, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi Dave,Check the usual suspects:1. Update your sound card drivers as required.2. Make sure you're using a half-decent sound card (preferably a plug-in type).3. Try installing the latest Sound Update from PMDG for the 747.4. Check your FS sound sliders to make sure they're not too low.5. Make sure you're not accidentally pressing the 'Q' key which by default is used to toggle FS sound on/off.6. Check your Direct X sound hardware acceleration slider.-Bryan B. March 6, 200719 yr Author >Update:>>User fixed the issue. FS sound slider was set too low.>>-Bryan> Hi Bryan, yes it was caused by turning down my 'Engine sound' previously for multiplayer chat and forgetting to return my slider to its original preferred setting so, deepest apologies to you? They say that a little knowledge is dangerous but a lot (As I thought I had :-)) is downright suicidle. :-( Dave Taylor
