November 12, 200619 yr I do most of my flying around the Toronto/Hamilton/Niagara area, thanks mostly to the terrific work of FlightOntario.I'm looking to spread my wings a bit, though. Any suggestions for great places to fly in other parts of the world? Picking new locales when you've got 24,000 airports to choose from can be a bit overwhelming.Thanks. November 12, 200619 yr I've said it many times, try Norway. With a good mesh (FSGenesis), UT Europe, and all the frewware airports vailiable (as a package), it is one of those 'hidden treasures' for flying IMO.I've been flying in the UK lately, and the Scotish and northern England areas are pretty 'neat', as is Ireland and Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, etc etc.I also really like flying in Alaska and British Columbia....all the way down to the Cascade and Olympic regions around Seattle.Another is the Blue Ridge area of Virginia/West Virginia/Maryland/North Carolina.....and then there is the Alps in Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy. If it has mountainous and 'hilly' areas, I'll find it....coastal areas are also a favorite of mine, so my list above usually combine these two ;)
