March 11, 200719 yr You think that's bad, try searching for a little tool called 'tzedit.exe' on Microsoft's site that enables you to change daylight savings time entries on your old Win98 computer in the U.S., thanks Congress! You know that there are millions of computers out there running older operating systems, especially Win98, for the purpose of keeping some older programs alive. I have one for some old games that won't run on XP. I did find many mirror sites for the little tool but Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, put it on a old FTP server that didn't even show up in when searching their site, and was slow to load at that. I'm thankful that I burned a copy of the FS9.1 patch to several CD's, so that I can retrieve it in the future.Kim

You would indeed find that the file is right where has always been:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=enPlease before you accuse and pass judgement do your research. Sheesh, you got me worked up on this one.[hr width=100%" size=1 color="black]http://forefrontgrp.com/MyLogo2.JPGJason | General Aviation Fan J R (Jason R MYNN) General Aviation Nut FSEconomy Pilot

(Had I searched for Kernel Toys from the main site I'd have gotten there easily too.) Supposedly they work with Win98. (And TweakUI I'm told was on the original Win98 CD.) TZEdit seems to work even in XP! I created (and deleted) a test timezone. It might even be how Microsoft created their timezone update."Let me help you out. You're cleared to taxi any way you can to any runway you see."
March 12, 200719 yr Sweet. I knew the files were still there, finding them was a whole nother story. *Goes to download the lot of them*:D Mike...
