March 16, 200719 yr The key press equivalent for altitude hold is ctr+z - this hold the present altitude. Is there a key press code for altitude select (sets the autopilot to level at the preselected altitude while climbing/descending at the selected vs rate)?I'm trying to set up most of the altitude functions to button or switches. Thanks in advance for any help.Dale Dale
March 16, 200719 yr A registered version of FSUIPC has options for this kind of assignment. I used FSUIPC to set up the autopilot buttons on the ACP Compact I use and am very happy with the results. I don't believe the standard key assignments in FS allow for this. If you already have FSUIPC try using it for assigning these buttons, if you don't already have it this is only one of a multitude of things FSUIPC allows you do with the sim. March 16, 200719 yr If altitude hold is already active, you can press to activate the altitude bug. You can then use <=> and <-> for Increase Selection and Decrease Selection respectively. If altitude hold is not currently active, you can still use the above noted commands to set the desired value in the autopilot. However, to activate Altitude Hold, with the selected value, you will need to issue the AP_PANEL_ALTITUDE_HOLD command. This one does not seem to be mappable to a button or key directly, so you will need to either use FSUIPC to map it, or use a mouse click on a gauge.Doug
