KDFW - jumpy/bumpy taxi ways - how to get rid of them?

at kdfw i get really jumpy and bumpy taxiways in some places, very annoying, - is there anything i can do to get this to be smooth?thanksciao!Brian S

I have had that same problem at LAS for quite some time now. I fixed it, but I can't remember how. Wish I did, so I could help you. :( Sorry.-Nick

I think its a flatten switch, its been so long since I had that problem I dont remember either other than I had to make a flatten bgl.

I'm getting the same thing in places...mostly on taxiways, and often those taxiways are already concrete.Maybe it's something else?

Hey guys..easy fix for this. Just download the free AFCAD program from right here on Avsim. Then all you do is load up the airport with the bumpy runway, select the runway and then change it to asphalt.No more bumps :) I had mad bumping in a few airports (Innsbruck was one of them) and this fixed it in a second!

well I d/l a new afcad and I'm going to test that out and see if that helps and then ill try that afcad thing if it doesn't - thanksciao!Brian S

yep that did it - just get a afcad file for the airport and that should fix things up .ciao!Brian S
