LDS/POSKY

Featured Replies

I hope I'm not in violation of anything by asking this. But has anyone merged the LDS with the POSKY 76?

I have merged the LDS 767 panel with the POSKY 757 aircraft a couple of times. I simply aliased the panel in the POSKY folder to the LDS panel. There were no major problems with this, everything seems to work ok,but I can't comment on any performance issues that may occur.I didn't notice any.Russ

Russ, which FDE version did you use for the Posky 757? I don't remember which one I have, but I know it's not the latest one (because that one makes the plane feel too heavy for me... even more than the 767-300). Anyway, sometimes the A/T works OK, sometimes it goes nuts and thinks it should be idle during a climb, and sometimes VNAV also goes nuts, making my aircraft dive and making me to fly it manually.Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel

Luis, to be honest I haven,t flown the aircraft for a longtime since I did the merge. I will give it a try this week andsee if I am getting the same problems and let you know.RegardsRuss

Well, I also checked the FDE versions: the 2004.8.0 is the one that goes nuts sometimes, other times will work OK. The 2004.9.0 FDE is a no-no for me: the trim is "inverted" and thus I can't set it up for takeoff. If I try to set it a few degrees up, it will go full nose down. But, I have seen in the library (here and at flightsim.com) some POSKY Icelandair 757s specially configured for the LDS panel. Just search there for "Level-D 757" and you'll get them. But they use a merge (with the 767's .air file), not a simple alias. Anyway, I'm curious. In the meantime, I'll try the Icelandair birds.Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel
