Just dug out an old approach plate- Jan/01. CYYJ R27 also shown here as having DME on 108.7 as well as R09. Looks like FS9 error.Anyone know how to correct this in FS9? Is it possible to have DME for both 27 & 09 using common freq?Alex Reid

Spoke to a Victoria Flying Club CFI to day. He confirms there is DME for CYYJ R27 on ILS 108.7 -ident IYJ. Same for R09 ILS (108.7 common freq) with IKH ident.Anybody know how to correct this in FS9 ? He also confirms the R27 approach lighting as discussed above. You need the AFCAD program by Lee Swordy in the Avsim library.It will read the default airports, and any addon airports you have.It will allow you to make some changes and save them to a file in the addon scenery folder.AFCAD includes a "deleteAirport" statement in each file is saves, which tells FS to ignore the items in the default airport which are now included in the AFCAD file - which includes your changes.

Hi neighbour- With my old AMD 1.8 GHz 'puter & running triple monitors/views, I keep my FS settings fairly modest to conserve FPS- so no, haven't tried CYYJ_V32.zip .I enjoy working approaches with visib set to 1/2 or 1/4 mile-so scenery and AI isn't a big deal for me. (keeps 75 yr old gray matter from atrophying !!) Thanks for the tip Gary.Alex Reid CYYJ

Reggie- The ZIP Dive for Lee Swordy's afcad221.zip doesn't have a Read Me- so not sure how to download or use this. Think I'm getting too old for this stuff- easier to just practice Procedure Turns in zero vis! (but DME at YYJ R27 would be nice!) Alex Reid
