August 29, 200718 yr what's the best way of going about to get populated small GA airfields with frame rate friendly small AI GA planes such as c152/c172/piper's etc.i know theres a gaweekly file in the library but thats just for the default AI..how do i go about getting something like that but with better quality AI planes?thanks
August 29, 200718 yr One method would be to download that "gaweekly" file, then some of the GA aircraft you desire, then reassign those planes to the flightplans and compile it with TTools. Drop the resulting traffic.bgl into your scenery/world/scenery folder and you should be good to go. August 29, 200718 yr I use GA-Traffic, for the flightplans, I use HTAI Cessna pack (payware, not expensive but excellent stuff) I still dream about the Piper package.GA-traffic is in the library. And you go to htaimodels.com to get the cessna pack. After that it's up to you. I know there's a couple of piper models out there for AI traffic and some other stuff. As for GA-Traffic I have a little tip for you, in the planes tab use the numbers from the default piper cub for a couple of the smaller cessnas (152-172 etc...) that way I get a good variety of aircrafts at really small airfields. I even get 152s in small grass strips! I love it. That's for GA traffic. I use Ultimate GA for bizjets and Ultimate traffic (with better models) for commercial AI.Good luck!
August 29, 200718 yr I, also use Ultimate GA. I would HIGHLY recommend it, they're always improving it.http://www.ultimatega.com/Dave.
