FRF's KDFW v3

Featured Replies

I downloaded the FRF groups KDFW and replaced my simflyers kdfw since it was soooo out of date. But now my 18R and 17C, the mm and im are wrong and I can't delete them nor can I move them. The mm's are about where the im's should be and the im are about 200 ft down the runways. I think this is because they used to be shorter and now they're all the same length. Is there away to fix this? When I tried to delete them I got the message I couldn't delete stock navaids only move or modify. But I can't do that either. Can anyone help?

It depends on how the marker beacons were implemented in the FRF files. If they were designed in eliminating the stock ones in a special file AFCAD may be able to move them. It can not modify stock ones.Version 3 I have has an AFCAD zip which either came with the distribution or later. Those markers on this AFCAD show as being not movable so apparently in the FRF scenery the originals were not excluded. The author's e-mail is included in the install readme.txt and you might see what ideas he might have. I am not a scenery designer but I think it might take a hand coded scenery file to exclude the original markers and then a higher priority AFCAD could add new modifiable ones. You might also post your query on the Scenery Design forum here.
