January 24, 200818 yr Hi all, I'm using the Albuquerque photoreal scenery as well as a downloaded airport for KABQ, I'm having a problem of the ground scenery showing instead of taxiways and runways and what not, is there a way to solve this so the airport sits on top of the scenery instead of what seems to be the other way around. In using Las Vegas photoreal scenery I find it to not be a problem because the scenery resolution is so good, but in the Alb. photoreal scenery it's not quite as good so it pretty much just looks like a big blur. Thanks!Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD

January 25, 200818 yr Try using a flatten utility such as Flattex. You may also need to check the altitude of your airport using AFX or AFCAD.Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
January 25, 200818 yr I agree, this is probably an elevation problem. If this happens only on part of the airport, a flatten file covering the bad area should do the trick. If it's happening all over the airport (and the entire airport is perfectly flat), check the elevation of the airport (3 feet lower than the default Cessna sitting on the ground). Then check your AFCAD file for the airport and set the runway elevations the same as in FS. If needed, raise them up just a little bit.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
