February 7, 200818 yr Just out of curiosity....What difference does it make ( in FS that is) if an aircraft is Diesel powered or AVGAS powered?I mean, for FS, a prop engine is a prop engine.... Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
February 7, 200818 yr It would make a difference if you use the sim as a procedural simulator. There are differences between operating a diesel or a typical AVGAS engine. Also, if modelled correctly, the performance / flight planning aspects are different.
February 7, 200818 yr Different engine controls, gauges, performance, panel layout, rangeetc. If your using FS as a training tool, or refresher prior to a check out for instance. Some users prefer to have the specific type of ac that they own or use. Cheers.
February 8, 200818 yr Your Website says its not available yet, and is for FSX. Is there an update on the time line for availability. Will it be coded for older sims?
