AES Bonus Credits

Featured Replies

I need some help on understanding the difference of Credit Packs, serial numbers, credits and bonus credits which Aerosoft mentioned for AES. Is my understanding correct? I purchase AES 1.94a for about $18r abou.33USD for 10 credits. Does a serial number go for each credit or credit pack that I purchase? Or does it mean if I purchase the first creditpack and use all 10 credits in the credit pack I will get another 3 credits I can use, which is a 30% discount.Sorry for the confusion. Thanks,Carl

Hi Carl,What is meant by a "credit pack", is a single serial which (when applied) gives you 10 credits. Putting simple, the more credit packs (serials) you purchase, the more discount you get! You can later use these credits (or divide among airports you want to fly to) to get AES airports activated (Demo -> Full) like in the following examlpe:Airport 1 - costs 4 creditsAirport 2 - costs 3 creditsAirport 3 - costs 2 creditsAirport 4 - costs 1 creditsAirport 5 - costs 0 creditsThis means when you apply your credit pack (or divide your credits as shown above) you get 5 airports activated in total. You can get even more without credits, i.e. just activating AES's 0 cost airports!Hope this helps,Rustam

About the bonus, buy 3 credit packs (3 sets of serials) get 3 bonus credits (your original 30 plus 10% = 3 for a total of 33).Buy 6 credit pakcs get 12 bonus (your original 60 plus 20% = 12 for a total of 72).You do not need to buy them all at once either. You can buy one credit pack and if you like buy one or two more later. When you buy that third set you will get your 10% bonus. For the record, AES is about the coolest thing to hit flight simulator since the FMC.

Thanks all, for your help. I agree AES has brought new life into FS9. Have used KBOS and VHHX freebies, which were amazing. Also very easy to setup the heavies to have them work to take advantage of all the goodies AES provides. What confused me was the statement on the Aerosoft site "Version 1.90 will give you 3 bonus credits with the purchase of 9 serial numbers (30% rebate)" So the way you can get the 30% is purchase 9 credit packs@ $18.33UDS for $165 for a total of 90 credits plus 30% would be 27 additional credits. (Correct?) I have a lot of airports but it will be somewhat expensive if I coveer most of them.Maybe they will have a surprise sale one of these days so I can add all of them.Regards,Carl
