IFDG V2 757 night light textures, question

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me why I can't turn off the landing lights without shutting off the forward section of window lights? I used a set of the night textures from another repaint that matched my Delta window config and they don't seem to work right. If ALL the lights are on, than the windows all show up. If I shut off the landing lights (ctrl L) then the forward bitmap night lit windows go away. Not quite sure why this is right now. I think I used Ben Hewitts windows off the American repaint he did, it has the same problem. I'd like to fix this if possible and any help is appreciated.ThanksHornit

Really can't help on this one Hornit. It's a shame the iFDG group don't monitor the forums of the organization that kindly hosts all their files for free.

The problem is the alpha channel of that night texture (front windows). The alpha channel in the window area should be black, instead of white. Then the lights would stay on.I hardly thing that IDFG should respond about a problem with their plane that has already been repainted by someone else! :)Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
