Shockwave lights on the PMDG 737

Hi Guys,I've asked this over at Shockwave a while back without any joy.I'm using the PMDG 737-800W I've added the 3d lights as instructed but I have no interior lights or logo lights show up at night when looking from spot view.....They show up when the landing lights are on but as soon as I turn the landing lights off there gone..This is what I have in my cfg..[LIGHTS]//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landinglight.0 = 2, -130.000, 0.090, 5.989, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , //Aft Strobelight.2 = 1, -51.750, 0.000, 8.700, fx_beaconh_pmdg , //Top Beaconlight.3 = 1, -65.900, 0.000, -5.750, fx_beaconh_pmdg , //Bottom Beaconlight.4 = 3, -79.000, -55.665, 2.100, fx_navred_pmdg , //Left Nav Light redlight.5 = 2, -78.800, -55.986, 2.100, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , //Left Strobelight.6 = 3, -79.000, 55.665, 2.100, fx_navgre_pmdg , //Right Nav Light greenlight.7 = 2, -78.800, 56.200, 2.100, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , //Right Strobelight.8 = 3, -84.800, -56.737, 1.800, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Left Position Lightlight.9 = 3, -84.800, 56.691, 1.800, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Right Position Lightlight.10 = 3, -130.000, -0.090, 5.989, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Aft Position Lightlight.11 = 5, -51.500, 6.700, -1.500, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow , // Landing Light Illumination Engine Rightlight.12 = 5, -51.500, -6.700, -1.500, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow , // Landing Light Illunination Engine Leftlight.13 = 6, -13.000, 0.000, -7.400, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow , // Landing Light Illumination Nose Gearlight.14 = 8, -63.000, -40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight ,//winglight illuminationlight.15 = 8, -63.000, 40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight ,//winglight illuminationlight.16 = 5, -52.500, 2.500, -5.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down , // Landing Light Illumination Belly Rightlight.17 = 5, -52.500, -2.500, -5.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down , // Landing Light Illunination Belly Leftlight.18 = 5, -14.500, 0.000, -3.750, fx_shockwave_landing_light_light , // Ambient LightIf Anyone could help I'd be grateful.Thanks,Regards,Martin.

First did you add the appropriate line for the shockwave lights to the planes panel.cfg in the [VCockpit01] section? Also I know a lot of these payware planes don't turn on/off all the lights when you hit the L key. They make you turn them all one individually - have you tried seeing on the overhead panel that you just turn off the landing lights that way and ensure that all other lights are on and see if you get the desired result you are looking for when flying/taxiing at night? Thanks.Paul

Paul

Hi Paul,Thanks for the reply,I've added the line to the cfg tried everything but still no luck....Surely somebody has added the Shockwave lights to the PMDG738W with success????Thanks.regards,Martin.

Well I'm in the same boat. No success with PMDG 737-600/700. Can not see lights from spot view. I just gave up!!Bill

Hi Bill,Yea I'm about to give up to....I bought the Shockwave lights to make night flying more immersive, but whats the point if some of the lights dont work at night?Kind of defeats the object...Regards,Martin.

Hi,Sorry to ask again, but has anyone managed to make this work? Thanks,Regards,Martin.

MartinJust to keep the thread alive for a while longer in case help arrives. You seem to have had better luck than me. I followed the "template" from the shockwave forum re the PMDG 737-600/700 i.e. via "copy and paste" and see nothing from spot view! From cockpit view I can see the lights on the runway etc but that has nothing to do with 3D Lights. The programme didn't cost a lot so I'm just forgetting it.Bill

This seems to work for me only I can't turn the logo lights off![LIGHTS]//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 2, -106.828, 0.090, 5.989, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_3 , //Aft Strobe light.1 = 1, -42.352, 0.000, 8.584, fx_shockwave_beaconh , //Top Beacon light.2 = 1, -50.473, 0.000, -5.630, fx_shockwave_beaconb , //Bottom Beacon light.3 = 3, -66.685, -56.370, 1.940, fx_shockwave_navred , //Left Nav Light red light.4 = 2, -66.202, -55.586, 1.940, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_2 , //Left Strobe light.5 = 3, -66.685, 56.370, 1.940, fx_shockwave_navgre , //Right Nav Light green light.6 = 2, -66.202, 55.553, 1.940, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_2 , //Right Strobe light.7 = 3, -72.350, 56.550, 1.500, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Right Wing Aft Position Light light.8 = 3, -72.350, -56.550, 1.500, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Left Wing Aft Position Light light.9 = 3, -106.828, -0.090, 5.989, fx_navwhi_pmdg , //Aft Position Light light.10 = 5, -38.500, 6.750, -2.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_narrow,// Right Inboard Landing Light light.11 = 5, -38.500, -6.750, -2.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_narrow,// Left Inboard Landing Light light.12 = 5, -39.500, -2.500, -6.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light,// Bottom Left Landing Light light.13 = 5, -39.500, 2.500, -6.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light,// Bottom Right Landing Light light.14 = 8, -54.000, -40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight,//winglight illumination light.15 = 8, -54.000, 40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight,//winglight illumination light.16 = 5, -33.500, -11.750, -2.000, fx_pmdgland, // Engine Illunination Left light.17 = 5, -33.500, 11.750, -2.000, fx_pmdgland, // Engine Illumination Right light.18 = 6, -12.000, 0.000, -7.750, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small_xenon,// Taxi Light Nose GearJohn

Hi Guys,I'll give it a try John and report back.Thanks,Regards,Martin.

John, could you post a picture of your lights working so that I can compare them to what I am seeing.ThanksBill
