September 1, 200817 yr It looks to me like maybe one of your default base desert textures got replaced? Try looking in the folder flight simulator 9/scenery/world/texture/ and check the dates for all the bmp files beginning with "002b2" and "002C2". They should all have file dates of 5/21/2003 (at least my default ones do).scott s..
September 1, 200817 yr Author Thanks Scott. LOL, none of mine are older than 7/14/2005, but only one of them is that old. I now recognize that texture as the work of Bird's Eye View USA -- I didn't think it was supposed to affect anything other than the USA!Thanks again for at least giving me a place to start looking. September 1, 200817 yr This looks like the square surf waves that populate seas, lakes and'puddles'. I got rid of these by setting Special Effects to "low".Worth a quick try ?
