November 2, 200817 yr Hello, how to turn off the Anti-Icing after the first officer has turned them on and I'm not in icing conditions anymore ?I tried to switch OFF manually the Anti-ice, but the first officer keeps turning them ON again. Location : FMEE
November 2, 200817 yr Commercial Member Hi Stephane,Which level of anti ice? 2 or 3?Did you call 'entering icing conditions' or did the FO set Level III by himself?Cheers,Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
November 4, 200817 yr Author I tried the level 2, clicking on "Entering Icing Conditions" option. The first officer turns on all Anti Icing switches (All De Icing switches are OFF). The Icing AOA is lighted. Then I want to turn off the anti icing. I open the overhead panel and click once on all lighted anti icing switches (6 switches if I remember well), the FO turn them on again as soon as I click on the switches. Location : FMEE
November 5, 200817 yr Commercial Member I'll see if I can reproduce, but I suspect the issue is that you were still in icing conditions, so the FO will turn the Level III icing on by himself.Did you wait until you were totally clear of the icing conditions before trying to turn off the icing?Cheers,Bryan B. November 5, 200817 yr Commercial Member I think I found the bug :-)I'll release an update shortly.I'm also going release an update for people who have the "Models Update" public beta installed. That update is available on the Flight1 FSX ATR forum.I was originally waiting for the Flight1 to release a final version of that update, but it appears as though the public beta will be the final.Cheers,Bryan B.
