Fs Freeware And Mach-1 Design Group

Featured Replies

Good morning all,I hope someone might be able to assist me with the following: I have just downloaded the FS Freeware New England and Florida package and activated....looks great!!!! I was wondering if anyone is using the FS Freeware packages along with any of the Mach-1 Design Group airports (JAX, MCO, ect)? Are these 2 packages able to co-exist without any problems? Many thanks .Cheers,Gmac

I assume you're talking about the Freeflow Florida and New England packages? If so, I don't see any reason that Mach-1's airports won't work. I use addon (both payware and freebie) airports with Freeflow and have no problems.

If you're talking about FreeFlow New England and FreeFlow Florida, there would be no issue. Those two sceneries just adjust the coastline data to create more realistic lakes, rivers, and coasts. Mach-1 Designs airports adjust airport data, dealing with the grass area around the airport, the runways, taxiways, structures, and gate assignments. There would be no conflict unless the airport is misplaced and hangs halfway off into water.

Many thanks guys. I took your advise and all worked fine. Thanks. On a side note, I have the FS Freeflow Florida, New England, and Bahamas. All 3 work and look spectacular, but I have 2 small problems you might be able to help with. The airports at South Bimini and San Salvador are supposed to have face-lifts, however I have seen very minimal additions to the airports. I found this pic on another site that shows South Bimini (http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97867). Mine certainly does not look like this; is this a separate add on than I forgot? Many thanks!!Greg
