everything was working just fine, no problemsthen just recently I've been getting CTD's/lockups, etc not more then about 10-20 minutes into a flight, so I thought I installed something that screwed everything up, well then I did a repair, - that made it worse, it wouldn't even boot up without crashing.so I new a complete re-install was coming, so I deleted everything and started over againall I have is the FSX with SP2 in it, no other addons or anything..I went to do a pattern around I40 in the C172 and all was good until I was on short final and boom, it hung and then crashed! so I'm at my forget to mention that I uninstalled my nvidia drivers and installed the XTreme-G 180.84 xp 32 bit drivers. I've been having these problems before this though, and still do...and you know I delete a lot of my background programs running before I use FSX and was wondering maybe I'm deleting to much stuff or something critical.. I left a little more stuff running than I usually do and took another quick hop around the field and all was good this time, but I will set it up on autopilot and just let it go for a while and see how long I can go..

well very interesting find, I did a little more research and played another intense graphics game and that is subway simulator by aerosoft, I went a lot longer there but eventually ended up with a blue screen and a rebootso... it seems anything that dishes out heavy graphics kills my systemso... I wonder if this means my vid card is going bad? or power supply?? I don't think it be the PS because I have that go bad in the past and usually my computer will just shut off completely.. - so I'm wondering if it isn't my graphics card

Brian,What is the actual error message that you are getting when FSX crashes? Is it always the same or different? Just saying that FSX crashes is not enough info for others to try and help you resolve your problem.
