Weird Fsx Graphics - What Is The Issue?

Featured Replies

That happened to me once and the problem was the driver release.

Interesting graphics lately in my FSX.Tim
You are beginning to run out of memory. Graphics starvation. Those are spikes as you graphics card does not have the system memory to render the graphics properly. Discussed frequently on this forum. Do a search for spikes and/or OOM (out of memory). Lower your FSX.cfg settings until spikes go away. Configure your system properly to avoid OOM's by enabling the /3GB (for XP OS) or bcdedit increaseuserva= (for Vista OS) switches IF you have the 32 bit operating system (OS). Hope this helps.Best regards,Jim

Jim,I was thinking about adding another 1GB of ram to make it 4GB. Will that add more value to FSX in general?Tim

I, too, had this problem with my 8800 GT. Went back to 169 drivers and it went away.

i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
